I remember going camping to Icicle Creek in Washington with my friends and their families. We rented private spots and played at the rocks and forest across the street. The river was close to our sites so we'd go swimming and hiking daily, also using the stream to cool watermelon. We attempted making dams and challenged eachother to dunk despite to ICICLEY temp.
I can remember the long white gravel and the two big rocks and forest that we played pine cone war, tag and hide and go seek tag at.. We also had many nights of girl talk on the rock and in our close by tents.
There was a lot of rebelling against different age groups... older and younger.. with me in the middle it was versital.
We also played kings, mash and war listening to our Ipods in the tent. Teaching eachother handshakes was also a favorite.
The desserts were delish! Our meals and desserts were eaten and cooked around the campfire using food that everybody helped buy make and bring. We would have homemade stew, fruits, chips, smores, pooglie pies, bannana boats and pie.
Shopping in Levensworth was also a laugh. We all rode downtown and Katarina got to talk in German with another 'hot' German guy. Not to say he wasn't, they just weren't my words. We got souveniers and gifts for our friends, enjoying ice cream and truffles to finish off with. Can't wait until next year!
